You know what?
I've grown sick and tired of self-hosted blogs. All this while that I've had them, I always seem to jump from one hosting to the next due to either rude/unhelpful hostees, or constant down-time with the sub domain.
I've always liked the fact that having a sub-domained blog of a self-hosted one gave you a 'unique' URL (instead of the boring '.blogspot.com or .wordpress.com subs). But I have finally, finally grown sick and tired of how troublesome it is; so much so that I've resorted to having a plain, 'boring' URL over a unique one that I can't use half the time due to problems with their server or downtime.
Also note that unlike the other times, I'm starting this blog fresh. No importing from my previous blog.
So yes. Here's hoping that I'll finally settle on a proper blog, and not have to switch every year or so.
